Program Specific 6-8 Week Skills Assessments

Developed for the following California State Board of Education adopted programs:

These assessments are curriculum-embedded and based upon the content addressed in each unit or theme. Each assessment consists of subtests in the following areas:

Comprehension and Fluency Assessments

These assessments are independent of any published reading/language arts curriculum, and can be used regardless of the curriculum adopted. They are written to reflect grade-level reading expectations and designed to help determine the effectiveness of instructional delivery at meeting student learning goals in the areas of comprehension and fluency.

Skills Assessment Supplements

Focused on Language Arts Standards, they are available in three forms per grade level and may be ordered and used independently of each other.

End-of-Year Fluency Assessments

A comprehension selection and two grade-level fluency passages that measure the success of core curriculum instruction.
